The past 2 days have been outragiously good

ugliness in this world shouldnt exist. beauty rests upon every single person. if your too narrow to see it, thats your curse...when we come across places and situations that appear ugly...its god telling us to shut up, stop pointing our how sad or ugly that situation is, and do something to make it beautiful again.

It went even better than we could have imagined... The Bubbles and Balloon Party for our little friends impacted by AIDS went incredible!! There were so many laughs and so many smiles in this little park. It truly could not have gone any better. The kids were so ex...cited when they saw us arrive, that we couldn’t even enter the park before the kids were jumping on us asking for balloon animals and crowns. From the 'Piggyback Marathon' to the 'Red Eye Water Slide, to the gigantic bubbles, everyone truly felt like they found some fantastic new friends while some of us got to revisit some old ones! Each one of these kids have such an amazing story. Thank you for not only seeing the need in these children’s lives but for stepping up and making their world a better place. You are daring to live an incredible life and I'm honored to call you my friend!

Crime Scene Teams have nothing on us... We formed a massive human chain and scowered Dockweiler Beach for any signs of trash, while in the same instant passed out water to some beach-goers who were just there to relax. When finished we had 9 full bags that were no lon...ger polluting the beach. We treated those 45 minutes of clean-up as if the world depended on it... Honestly, some Red Eyers were diving head first into the sand to pick up empty potato chip bags, other Red Eyers were trying to save a jellyfish that got caught in some seaweed. It's incredible what a BIG impact a crew of people can make in such a short amount of time! While the clean up was fun... it was only Part 1. After we hand sanitized our bodies, (ha, but serious!) we quickly had a "Stress Relief Session" with sledgehammers on some recycled wood and started the bonfire for a relaxing finish to conclude such a proactive day!

Orange County pool party...life is so rough

It was an Easter/Passover like no other! After stepping out of the Party Bus, everyone walked into the beautiful Calvillo home and then went straight to their back yard which seemed more like a Water Park that quickly turned into a massive Dance Party! Which then led i...nto the main event…The Twilight Easter Egg Hunt! Tons of people in pursuit of many eggs but only 1 GOLDEN EGG. It was an intense race to find the egg and in the end only one team came out on top. There could not have been a better way to spend Easter than with our amazing Red Eye Family.

I was forced to spend 1 hour and 30 minutes on a ferris wheel today...Michae,l I love your new song...but that freaking ferris wheel ruined all pleasent childhood memories I once had lol

Today I met Branden and Keyshawn on Grape Street. Cousins, ages 4 and 7. I was pushing them on the swings, asking them about their siblings and parents and such. Branden, the 4 year old then said simply "My daddy gone, he got shot by them gangbangers..." then Keyshawn, the 7 year old said "ya my daddy got shot up too......crips always messin shit up....but Granny, she told Branden an Me, we gonna be Fire Fighters!".

Today was my first day working with Foster Care and Project Prevention. It was like living in an episode of Hoarders on TLC.

Today i met a 19 year old girl who has recently been rescued from human sex trafficking in Pheonix Arizona...when she told us her dream was to sing, I thought it was inspiring...and then when i heard her sing on stage in front of thousands of people, after being abused and sold and lost for 5 years...she gave me hope.
